USDIDX: United States Retail Sales report for July is the key economic event in the August 14 - 18 week. The US Census Bureau will release the Retail Sales report on August 15. In case the retail sales growth accelerates from 0.2% rate of June - the USDIDX will get a bullish boost.

NZDUSD: Reserve Bank of New Zealand interest rate decision on August 16 is an important event for forex market. Traders are waiting to see if the policy makers maintain their hawkish stance on rates and resume interest rate hikes. If New Zealand policy makers hike the benchmark rate by 25 basis points it will be bullish for the NZDUSD pair.
